Welcome to Career Next Step
Career Next Step recreates, in a web-based medium, a proven career assessment and decision-making course that was developed at Harvard Business School and administered to thousands of students at the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business for more than 30 years. The site leverages time-tested assessments and a proven methodology that help individuals discover their unique interests, values, and ambitions, and then use this knowledge to identify a career that best matches their personal profile.
Career Next Step currently facilitates the Darden Personal Career Assessment Program (PCAP), which is administered annually to more than 300 Darden students. The site is also used to facilitate Career Transitions, a course offered to the 186,000 alumni of the University of Virginia, as well as several courses offered to students, alumni, and employees at other universities and corporations throughout the world. Many Career Next Step users declare that this process provided them with the most transformational experience of their lives.
The Career Next Step site was officially launched during the fall of 2005, and is now available for use by business schools, undergraduate universities, corporations, and individual career changers.
